Adidas Originals x Avirex

Adidas Originals has teamed up with a NYC streetwear staple, Avirex! The two have reimagined the iconic Superstar - blending heritage, hip-hop, and 90s energy.

The collab drops Oct. 20 exclusively at the adidas Originals NYC flagship, with a Soho pop-up Oct. 17.

The collaboration introduces a new take on the Superstar, combining the craftsmanship of both brands. The sneaker features a white leather upper, black Three Stripes, and distinct Avirex co-branding across the tongue, heel, and insole.
Additional apparel items, including a co-branded leather jacket, nod to Avirex’s signature 90s aesthetic and its legacy in hip-hop fashion.

Avirex became an icon of urban fashion in the 1990s, particularly through its leather jackets that defined East Coast hip-hop style.
The Adidas Superstar, meanwhile, holds a legendary place in hip-hop history, popularized by Run-D.M.C. and synonymous with streetwear authenticity.
This collaboration bridges the two worlds — celebrating cultural heritage while introducing a contemporary vision that blends sportswear and street fashion.
